I'm back from my sudden and random sabbatical, and with pictures!

The steamboat pictures...

3S5 went to supposedly support Fuhua Badminton at a tournament (which we actually won, congrats Badminton guys, you did awesome!), and what happened there really turned me off. Numerous of our classmates were doing math homework instead of cheering. Only the first two rows were cheering; the rest of them were all probably armed with calculators in hand and waging war with logarithmic equations. I feel really sorry for Mr Chia and Justin; they both expected us to go there and scream our lungs out cheering, but we disappointed them utterly. Mr Chia, as our form teacher, must really feel very "emo" over the sort of form class that he has.

S5, we need to improve. We cannot only be a class that is good at studies but lacking in everything else. Studies only show us how much information you can process and manipulate, but our enthusiasm in other aspects of life show others what sort of people we really are. Results are indeed important, but can the number of A's you score testify for the sort of person you are?

Dear S5, we can change, if only we try!

Happy 15th birthday Wei Qiang! =D.

{What's not to like?}

Well, simply put, Happy Chinese New Year!

To begin my rather rushed post, emceeing Chinese New Year was not as bad as we'd expected it to be! The skit went very smoothly (although I screwed up one line, sorry!~), and Dulcia achieved an effect that none of us fathomed possible. Also, the training involved in this skit has also really strengthened our personalities. The best thing that resulted from this performance? New friendships were forged between me and people whom I never knew before; Ben Chia, Dulcia, and Angie. So what's not to like?

^^Chinese New Year Celebrations 2008 =)

Another thing that I enjoy about this Chinese New Year is that I once again feel the warmth of friendship light up my life. I remember that during this time in '07, I felt very lonely and thought that nobody wanted to be my friend (sounds childish, but yeah, I probably was). However, this year, old friendships turned sour were reignited, and existing friendships were made stronger. This time, I could really sense how much all my friends care for me. Well, yeah. My diamond heart is shining proudly now. What's not to like?

This Chinese New Year, I also feel a lot closer to my spiritual brothers in Christ. i really feel God's love for me this Chinese New Year. I feel so touched, as He has forgived my iniquity, although it is great. Yeah, I wish I could stand as an ambassador of His mighty strength, and show people around me that God's divine grace can transform a sinner into a saint (well, figuratively so). So, yeah, I feel loved.

That's us, the half-ACS(I) cell group staring down at you in matching red clothes. What's not to like?

Shall post photos once I come back from the cell group steamboat dinner tomorrow. =D.
